Help Me Avoid Eviction

Hello, my name is Persephone Jade. I have recently left an unsafe and toxic relationship/situation. Sadly for a few months they refused to pay their half of the rent and continued to find ways to take advantage of my finances, even after being served our first eviction notice a few months ago. They refused to help, So, I managed to hustle together the balance to have it paid off in the allowed time frame. They have recently left the household, refusing to contribute to any of the $2,000 of back rent they left me with. I have been served with a 14-day eviction notice today (1/11/22) so I need to pay or vacate.

I have applied to several rental assistance programs in my area, including but not limited to YWCA, SNAP, and contacting ministries/churches. Many of these programs have failed to give a response in well timing as most organizations are backed up due to COVID. Many ministries/churches have asked that I try my best to attempt to lower the bill, so they don't put out a portion of money just for us to still get evicted. I swallowed a lot of pride to even apply for these things or reach out for any kind of help, I have been self-sufficient most of my life.

Many people have expressed a concern about having a long-term plan and ending up in the same situation a few months from now. My sister has recently moved across the country to live with me. Being a trans woman she had struggled to find a fitting workplace but has recently found a comfortable and accepting spot to work. We know that we can make and split rent comfortably, but we cannot afford to catch up in the time frame that we have.

Any and all help is absolutely more than appreciated, and if you know me personally you know how hard it is for me to ask for any type of help at all.
