UPDATE:

My mom had her last round of chemo before the follow up scan for her lung at the end of this month. She is feeling pretty weak, nauseous, and overall tired from this round. Pray for strength and for an appetite. Also, My parents were going back home from Huntington yesterday and got into a car accident, totaling their car. My dad is ok, just sore. My mom is currently in ICU but being transferred to med surg. She has a collapsed lung with a chest tube in right now, and a couple broken ribs. She is doing OK, but please pray for her pain, relief, healing, and just overall mental strength for both her and my dad. This has not been an easy journey for them and this hurdle has just added a little more. Thank you all.

Update: mom is trying to keep up her strength, she is making an effort to take walks around their property, use exercise bands to do some stretching, and keep up with doing normal daily activities around the house. She keeps losing weight, so pray that her appetite comes back and she is able to put on a few more pounds. Her hair is now completely gone, but she has some cute head scarves that she is wearing. Still continuing chemotherapy on her lungs, hopefully we will know more about her brain within the next week. Keep praying for strength, comfort, positivity, patience, and complete healing. Thank you. Everyone who has texted, prayed, donated, and been there for us during this difficult time. 

03/11/2023 my mom finished her first round of radiation on the brain, will know more in three weeks so keep praying for complete healing! She started chemo in her lungs last week and is feeling pretty bad. Sores in mouth, difficulty eating, tired, headache, etc. so pray for comfort for her during this difficult phase of treatment. 

Hello, My name is Brittany Brewton and I am raising funds for my mother, Debbie Baker, who is battling stage 4 lung cancer that has now metastasized to her brain. Due to her recent diagnosis, Debbie is now unable to work and help provide financially.

I am developing this page, to hopefully help supplement their income. Not only do they have to drive close to an hour daily for radiation/chemo treatments, but they have their daily living expenses, medical bills, etc. working solely off my dads' retirement.

I hope to help take this extra burden off my dad and mom during this difficult time. Any money raised will be put toward travel expenses, medical expenses, food and/or lodging if necessary while traveling to and from treatments. Any amount helps, and if helping financially is not something you are capable of, prayers are always number one. Thank you for your help, consideration, and prayers.
