Stand with Jose's Family in Difficult Times

Hello Everyone,

My name is Selena and I am Jose’s Fiancé. I am looking to raise $5,000 to help pay for Monthly Bills/Expenses. Mortgage, Electric, Car payment & Insurance etc…

As some of you May know Friday June 28th around 8-8:30 PM Jose was headed home from Grand Rapids OH riding his motorcycle when a truck ran him off the road out of road rage and sent Jose flying off his motorcycle and left him there. Jose was life flighted to the nearest Trauma Center. Jose is very lucky to be alive, he sustained Road Rash all over his body, Face, Shoulders, Chest, Hands, Knees & Feet. Jose has a broken elbow and his Tricep Muscle detached from the joint along with a deep contaminated wound on his left forearm. Saturday June 29th Jose had surgery where Pins & Plates were placed to stabilize his elbow and two holes were drilled into the bone where sutures were placed to re-attach his tricep muscle. Today June 30th physical therapy came to discuss in home care and making the first floor of our newly purchased home livable for him. The Surgeon also came to speak to him about another surgery Tomorrow July 1st to reopen his “finger deep” wound and make sure it’s completely cleaned where eventually a skin graph will be performed to help the healing process. We were told 10-12 wks for the muscle to heal maybe longer and 6-8 wks for the elbow to heal. This is not including the Skin Graph that is in the near future. Jose will not be able to return to work due to this injury, He is a truck dumper… Jose is the main income source for our household of 8.

I myself am a stay mother to our 3 little girls Zuriah (5yr old) Ximena (2 yr old) & Amora (4 Months old). I am also in college and will taking a break until this is all settled and passed.

It is significantly important that Jose’s main focus is on healing and getting better so that he can return home and eventually back to work. But as of right now, all he can think about is the possibility of loosing our first home and not being able to provide for his family.

I am writing in hopes of financial support…Our mortgage alone is $1,414.22 we have car payments, insurance, hospital expenses, water, electric, trash etc and our little ones to support and provide for in this difficult time.

Jose is a hard worker and a great provider for his family and as un deserving and tragic this accident was we have to push through it and sometimes it takes a village and some help.
