Megan's Scoliosis Fundraising

My name is Megan. I am 14 years old. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis in 2014 and it was a very fast progressing type.
I was put on a wait list for surgery which was never-ending it seemed so with my Mom we did a media blitz to highlight how bad the situation is in Ireland for children living with Scoliosis awaiting treatment.
Thankfully I have had my surgery and now I hope to raise awareness and funds for the condition.
I am participating in the Limerick Mini Marathon on the 29th of October with my Mom. We hope to raise funds for Straight Ahead, a charity founded by my surgeon whereby medical professionals donate their free time to treat children.
Also Ronald McDonald House who were very kind to my family while I was in hospital.
