For JoAnne

My name is Hailiey and I am the 2nd oldest of JoAnne’s 16 grandchildren. I am creating this fund to help ease some of the large financial burden that will be placed upon my grandparents due to this very unfortunate medical emergency. My grandmother currently does not have medical insurance.

Every year our family plans a trip for the 4th of July and “Oma” always goes. This year the trip was in Culloden Georgia. Around 9am on July 3rd she suffered a stroke from a clot in the left side of her brain. She was able to get transported an hour and a half away to Grady Memorial in Atlanta. A few hours after having a procedure to remove the clot, she suffered from a second stroke, having to go back into the surgery room for removal of the second clot. She has been in the ICU for 4 days and will be in the hospital for at-least another week. She will then have to be medically transported back to Florida to an acute rehabilitation center for a couple more weeks and then continue with outpatient therapy. There are many unknowns to if she will regain use of her right side and talk again. We are praying for a miracle. The medical bills will far surpass $150,000 but, I feel this is the least I can do for my Oma who has been there for me since birth who now needs taken care of herself. I am praying the donations raised will help my grandparents be able to pay medical bills without having to sell their life away.

JoAnne is the matriarch of our family who always gives her heart and soul to the Lord and loved ones. We are already so thankful for all of the prayers and love being sent her way for a strong recovery. Any donation of any size is a blessing which we would be very grateful for. God Bless!❤️
