I need your help- Costly Mistake
Donation protected
I screamed out loud for help, I asked why oh why but I hear nothing... My sorrows streamed like a river but I find no comfort. My heart bleeds, I feel the pain. Why oh why but still, nothing. It shall be well... some people say... God knows best, others reaffirmed... But I asked why? Why does it hurt so bad? Until it happened to you, you may never know how this pain feels... Why grandpa? Why did you leave us all of a sudden?
My grandpa raised me, bathed me, fed me, he was my father to my single mother and sometimes played the role of my mother. My recent visit to Houston, Grandpa was elated to meet my beautiful daughter, Fiifii, his new great grand angel. He bathed her, fed her and baby sat her while we had to ran our several days of errands.
Anyone who knew him would tell you he was well fit, young man. When he recently visited the hospital for a check up and was admitted for some tests, he assured us everything was ok. We knew it wasn't anything serious. We trusted and believed him. He made jokes as usual.
Grandpa was on I.V. fluids [for dehydration] and been asking for water but had been denied by the Doctor. Upon shift change, in the middle of the night, another nurse decided to give grandpa water, soon after, he needed to go to the bathroom, he was then temporarily taken off his I.V. fluids and oxygen tank and assisted by the nurse to use the bathroom. Suddenly grandpa fell and his heart stopped working.
My mother came back from work, after her 14 hours shift, went to the hospital room as she only saw grandpa sleeping, not knowing that he has passed, she tried to wake him up. You can only imagine her shock when she was later told grandpa died an hour earlier. His untimely death was an obvious mistake by the nurse and a shock to us all that are greatly affected.
As you can imagine, the family is burdened with expenses and I hereby appeal to your heart for your generous donations. Any pledged donation would go along way in helping us. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
