The recent escalation in hostilities has had a devastating impact on South Lebanon and the Bekaa region. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health and the United Nations, the lives of nearly 5000 civilians were lost, over 150000 people were injured, and more than 1130,000 were displaced from their homes. The situation is worsening, with casualties rising daily.
In response, Ahoulna is mobilizing to provide urgent relief for displaced families. We are focusing on equipping shelters, providing food, hygiene kits, and essential non-food items. Our emergency response team is working around the clock to assess the situation, and while areas remain unclear, we are preparing to intervene wherever the need is greatest all over Lebanon.

- Shelter and Essential Supplies
- Non-Food Items (NFIs): Each kit contains 1 mattress, 1 blanket, and 1 pillow per person.
- Ready-to-Eat Meals: Each meal includes 2 bottles of water, juice, sweet tahini, a croissant or cake, and a date.
- Hygiene Kits: Each kit for a household includes tissues, wipes, liquid hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, manual washing detergent, shampoo, toothpaste, 5 toothbrushes, and feminine hygiene products.
- Duty of Care for Displaced Staff: Ensuring the well-being and support of our staff who are also impacted by displacement.

How Your Donation Can Help the People of Lebanon,
In response to the war on Lebanon, Ahlouna Association is providing humanitarian assistance and delivering essential emergency aid to those most affected by the displacement whether in collective shelters or households.
Ahlouna Association is on the ground in Saida, providing hot meals, food parcels, clean water, blankets, mattresses, infant formula (up to age of 1 year), diapers for children, the elderly and PWD, and chronic medications to displaced families and their host
communities in Saida, where thousands seek refuge. In addition to that, Ahlouna Association is supporting the collective shelters the level of WaSH by installing water tanks, providing maintenance work for toilets, showers and water filters.
Ahlouna is providing its hot meals from its social enterprise project “Ahlouna Cuisine” which is currently operating as a social kitchen.
Ahlouna is currently managing 3 collective shelters in Saida for 1,041 IDPs:
1. Al Islah Al Thaniya official school (151 IDPs)
2. Saida Al Mokhtalata Al Qanaye school (132 IDPs)
3. Al Omaniyia official school (415 IDPs)
4. Mihaniyat Saida (343 IDPs)
