Moore Family Support

After some reflection and input from others, I moved the goal back to the original goal of $10,000. We met our initial goal of $10,000 in less than 24 hours. Our intent in raising the goal was to motivate everyone to keep sharing the link so others would see this and give if they hadn't done so yet. We appreciate everyone who has given to this campaign or supported the Moore family through other means or your prayers. It will be stewarded well by this family. As I have told many folks, we can’t change the past, but how can we affect the future through our acts of service and love? This page is being set up for the Moore Family. Bryon Moore, a United States Marine, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Bryon was married to Laura, and they have three beautiful children. Bryon and Laura are loved by many friends and family who have asked how they can help. We are setting up this page to allow all who wish a way to help Laura and the kids.

The goal that we set of $10,000 is a minimum goal. We know and love this community and know that so many from church, school, work, and beyond want to help. We believe that we can blow this goal away and make a positive impact on this family for many years to come. Let's blow this goal away to ensure that Laura and the kids are taken care of.

The VA should cover most funeral expenses. The funds will help with some basic needs right now. The funds will also ensure that the kids have presents to open on Christmas. In addition, it will help cover any ongoing financial needs in the coming weeks. With one of their birthdays just days away and Christmas around the corner, we don't want this amazing family to worry about anything financial.

Those who know the Moore family are mourning our loss of Bryon. If you don't personally know the Moore family, know that your donation is appreciated and will help their kids have some sense of normal in the most difficult situation most of us could imagine.
