Help Jenna play softball in Germany
My daughter Jenna is 15 years old. She has been playing softball since she was 6, competitive softball since she was 8. On September 12-13, 2015, Jenna attended the Jennie Finch Softball Camp. One of the stations was led by Leah O'Brien-Amico, a Three -Time Olympic Gold Medalist for Team USA Softball. During the station Leah had time to observe the girls. Jenna always works hard playing the game she loves, and on this day, it did not go unnoticed. Leah asked Jenna to stick around because she had wanted to speak with her. Leah invited Jenna to be on a select team, "Americas Team" that would be traveling to Germany in the Summer of 2017 to represent the USA, coached by Leah herself. As you can imagine, Jenna was so happy but humble at the same time. For anyone that knows Jenna, she lives and breathes softball. The trip to Germany is just confirmation that her dedication and committment to the sport is paying off. She is getting to live the dream. A journey that will bring many memories and life lessons. While getting to compete in another country, she will also get an amazing educational experience. Touring Germany and learning about the culture is just a part of this amazing opportunity. Her father and I are so proud of the hardwork she puts in on and off the field. We have always taught Jenna to be the best person she can be. You never know who is watching you, and what doors that might open. I am asking anyone that reads this to consider donating to help Jenna on her journey to the field of dreams! This is a step closer to making those dreams a reality. The money will be used for the trip to Germany, passports, and all other expenses necessary. Any financial support will be greatly appreciated! Every dollar matters!
