Volunteer

Hello! Welcome to my gofundme, my name is Laura, and I am a third-year Paediatric Nursing student. I have been given an extraordinary opportunity to travel with Work The World to Vietnam, in August 2023 for 3 weeks to volunteer in a developing hospital. I will care for children and their families in a low-resource healthcare environment, which will give me a huge eye-opening experience into different cultural attitudes toward nursing care and allow me to practise, learn and support their child team. This opportunity will enable me to develop my skills and knowledge before I graduate and become a Children's Nurse.

I am so excited to volunteer and cannot wait to get out there; however, I recognise it is an expensive trip, so I will be grateful to anyone who has decided to support me. All donations will go towards funding the trip. Thank you :)
