Costa Rica Study Abroad

As many of you know, I am a pre-medical student majoring in Interdisciplinary Health with a Health Diversity concentration. I am also minoring in Spanish with a concentration in Cultural Analysis. As a future physician, I want to be able to communicate with all types of patients from many different backgrounds. My goal is to have my patients be as comfortable as possible so they do not fear coming to see me for checkups. Therefore, I want to learn as much as possible about the populations that make up our world. I have been accepted into a 6-week study abroad program in San Joaquin Costa Rica this summer. I will be immersed in a culture completely different from my own and grow as a student. To help alleviate the cost, I have created a Go Fund Me. If you can donate, I would greatly appreciate it!
