*Al-Fajr Academy Alim & Qirat Classes*

(Based at Masjid Mahmoodiya,Taylor St Batley)

Alhamduillah Al-Fajr was established in *2010* with the intention of providing a full time *Alim classes* in the heart of Batley for all ages especially for those who can't enroll into a full time boarding madressah with an opportunity to study advanced islamic education and Qira'ah of the Holy Qur'an and thereby becoming an Alim of deen.

*Alhamduillah two groups of students have graduated and are now serving the Deen in their respective communities*. Some of them went on to study further in South Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia specialising in Fiqh, Hadith and other fields.

The Madressah taking into account the need and change of time have kept the mode of education in English and Arabic whilst not forgetting the importance of the urdu language.

The Madressah along with the *Taleem*, focuses on *Dawah* and *Tarbiyyat* of the students, with regular student jamats going out whilst being accompanied by the teachers and also go on trips visiting scholars both nationally and abroad.

At Al-Fajr we believe access to islamic education should be easy and available for all, hence the *fees at the Madressah is from the lowest throughout the country.*
