Chris Cook

Many of us at Slalom have known and worked with Chris Cook for many years. Last week he passed away suddenly. He was only in his early thirties. He has left behind his wife Jenna and his son Charlie, due in May, alone to face the world. If you knew Chris then you knew how kind, caring and happy he was. He was one of the first people to reach out to you when you joined the company, eager to help you along in your journey.

Outside of work, he was exuberant and had an excitement for life that only an expecting father could have. Charlie is due within the next month. Both Jenna and the baby are physically doing well, but the stress must be difficult. Chris and Jenna just moved back to Georgia from NYC so that they could be closer to family while raising their son.

One of Chris' passions was education. It was very important to him. So, with the blessing of Jenna, we have started this FundMe project to raise funds in support of Charlie's future college education. Not knowing your father has devastating consequences for children, but knowing that Chris had goals and aspirations for his son, even before birth, should bring comfort to Charlie. It will help him to know how much he was loved by his father whom he will never meet.

Please help us take one burden off of Jenna and Charlie as they go through this very challenging time. Give to the education fund in memory of Chris. I know he would be one of the first to do it for anyone else.
