Sister's Tragic Honeymoon

On November 4th, 2017, Chris and Elizabeth McAninch were married, after spending 30+ years, trying to find their forever mates. While nothing and no one is perfect, together they had a love and unity that most people aspire to. They honeymooned in Jamaica, loving each other fearlessly and reveling in their plans for a beautiful partnership.
By November 26th, 2017, 3 weeks after their union, Chris was in the hospital fighting to survive a parasitic disease he had contracted in Jamaica, on their honeymoon. He would go through massive organ trauma, his body covered in huge blisters, lungs bleeding, brain bleeding, and his kidneys and liver failing. Elizabeth and her family were determined to bring him home, hopefully as a Christmas miracle.
On December 23rd, Chris had to be set free, due to the knowledge that he would never be able to breathe without the life support system and his brain and lungs had endured irreparable damage. Elizabeth had to make that horrifying choice to let her soul mate go Home just 2 days before their first Christmas as man and wife. She will now struggle to keep the home they just bought.
Please help by sharing their story and warning others of the dangers of traveling to countries with risks that they will not warn you about.
