UPDATE AS OF 11/19:

The long road to recovery we had hoped for was brought to a standstill. Colleen’s breathing drastically declined and her doctors were forced to place her on a ventilator. Scans then showed that her cancer had spread much more aggressively than anyone could have anticipated, faster than her doctors have seen in decades. Unfortunately, there is not enough time for any treatment to be successful. All donations will now be helping to cover Colleen’s end-of-life arrangements. The outpouring of love and support has been amazing and is so greatly appreciated by Colleen and her family. At this time visitations are limited due to her being in the ICU but please continue to send messages and they will be shared with her as long as they can.

If you have met Colleen, you know she can't do anything the "normal" way. Colleen not only has cancer but a rare cancer that at this moment has been found in her lungs and uterus but unsure of where it originated. We have a team of doctors doing scans and bloodwork daily to find the type of cancer she has so that we can begin treatment. Her team also believes she may have a lung infection that is causing her oxygen levels to dip. Their focus right now is getting her breathing/oxygen under control before they can begin any sort of treatment plan.

This is all very new and scary to us as a family. We have a long and unprecedented road in front of us and would appreciate any help we can get with Colleen's monthly bills while she is fighting this. As many of you may know, my mom has worked hard most of her life already, and lastly, as a bartender, which is a field not known for its hefty 401k.
