Raising Money for Wildfire 강원도 동해시 산불 피해 성금모금

The Federal Way Korean American Association (Chairman Kim Young-min, Chairman Kim Haeng-sook) and the City of Federal Way are raising funds to support the wildfire damage in Donghae, Gangwon-do, Korea. Donghae, Gangwon-do is the sister city of the Federal Way Korean  American Association and the City of Federal Way.

The wildfire that occurred on March 5 destroyed 130 buildings including 45 houses, 2 public facilities, 3 temples, and 80 other facilities in Donghae, along with 2,660 ha (hectare) of forest.

The Federal Way Korean American Association and Donghae formed a sisterhood relationship in 2000, and through cross visits, they have established and maintained strong friendly relations in society, culture, and administration. We are raising money so that Donghae citizens can stand up again without losing hope. Thank you.

안녕하세요, 저희 페더럴웨이 한인회(회장 김영민ㆍ이사장 김행숙)와 페더럴웨이시가 한국 강원도 동해시 산불 피해 지원을 위해 성금을 모금합니다. 강원도 동해시는 페더럴웨이 한인회와 페더럴웨이시의 자매도시입니다. 지난 3월5일 발생한 산불로 동해시에서는 주택 45채, 공공시설 2개소, 사찰 3개소, 기타시설 80개소 등 130개소가 전소됐으며 2,660ha(헥타르) 면적의 산림이 불에 타는 피해를 봤습니다.
페더럴웨이시와 동해시는 지난 2000년 자매결연을 맺었으며 교차 방문을 통해 사회ㆍ문화ㆍ행정 등 우호관계를 수립하며 끈끈한 우정을 이어오고 있다. 갑작스런 산불로 하루 아침에 삶의 터전을 잃은 동해 시민들이 희망을 잃지 않고 다시 일어 설 수 있도록 성금에 협조해 주십시요. 감사합니다.
