Noah's Team

Hey guys, my name is Josh and I'm a good friend of Noah's mother Nicky and stepfather Dave. I've been lucky to watch Noah grow up with my children over the years and even taught him few good and maybe one or two bad habits over the years.....

Noah recently started having seizures, which caused him to end up in Vancouver at BC Children’s Hospital.

Noah has had some imaging of his brain which detected some swelling in the frontal left side, and we now know this has been causing his seizures.

Despite having his braces removed from his teeth so they can get better results on the MRI scans, coming in and out of sedation, and abundance of lab work and chest X-Rays Noah still is keeping the regular beautiful smile on his face.

Noah said the other night before he fell asleep “this doesn’t seem real”.

Noah has recently completed an urgent biopsy of the abnormality. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, sleeping and recovering well. The surgery went well. They confirmed it was an actual tumour. We will have to wait to see what kind of tumour it is in the next 5 days.

The family is extremely impressed with the team at the hospital and are grateful for all the hard work they are putting in.
