Help Easter get a kidney!

Donation protected
In June 2015 Easter Tootoo Limback was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure and is now in need of a kidney transplant. Of course this was devastating. After taking some time to digest everything Easter visited doctors three times a week for several months. After learning that she was going to have to start dialysis no later than the first of the year 2016 Easter began to prepare. In December 2015 she had surgery to place a Peritoneal catheter in her abdomen. After having to have a second surgery to move the catheter to a position where it would work. January 6th she was finally able to receive her first round of dialysis. The week of the 6th she spent everyday for 8 hours a day getting dialysis.
She has been to East Carolina University and Wake Forest University hospitals for the initial introduction to the kidney transplant process. We learned that the main expense of the transplant will be the medicines that she will have to take everyday after the transplant for the rest of her life.
This is why we have created this page. Easter needs a kidney either from a deceased donor from getting on the United Network of Organ Sharing transplant list, or even better a living donor. We also have to raise money to be able to pay for her medications after the surgery.
So please like and share this page with your friends and family. Also check back often for updates on fundraisers and to keep abreast of our kidney search.
