A Headstone for Libby.
Donation protected
Hello Everyone, Welcome to our fund page! Our Goal here today is to raise the money to get Libby a proper head stone to mark her grave. The Woden plate and cross that has marked her grave for the last 15 years has not survived the time. We believe it's time she deserves a proper memorial.
Because of the sensitive and emotional nature of this subject We would like to raise this money quietly without letting Vivian or Dale know. And then when we meet our goal we will present this gift to them so that they can choose a headstone that they see fit.
Please share and pass on this fund raiser on to anyone who knew Libby. And let's finally give her the memorial she deserves.
Thank you for your donations .
For those who did not know Libby,
Her story began December 1, 1998 when Libby Miranda Pack-Pieper entered the world. Every picture, every moment was filled with joy. She was a child who's personality overflowed. She was certainly a gift to the family. In the summer of 2000, Libby was with her mother Vivian and brother Dale on a trip from Texas to Maryland coming home to visit family. During these travels, she had a seizure and was rushed to the local hospital in Virginia. She was prescribed a medication for the seizures. During their visit in Maryland, Libby became ill, running a fever and breaking out in red spots. She was taken back to the doctor and misdiagnosed. Libby's health began to further decline and she was taken back to the doctors and diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. The week that followed we would learn that the anti-seizure medication that was suppose to help her lead to her attracting a rare disorder that little know about. This little baby fought a long hard battle in that hospital and her overflowing personality shined threw the worst moments of her time there. Libby passed away July 8, 2000.
A day we all remember and still cry over.
Heartbreak is an understatement.
