Support Stew beyond love &laughter

On Tuesday July 21st, Stewart had an accident in the house which resulted in damage to his spinal cord. He underwent surgery but unfortunately the damage was done. Due to an undiagnosed herniated disc, the fall impacted the bulging disc and pushed it against his spine causing paralysis. The doctors have said that his injuries are permanent but they are hopeful everyday that he will regain movement in his hands, fingers and legs. Stewart also had below his knee amputated due to a infection he lost the battle with.
Stewart is stable and working through his injuries. Every day he grows stronger and every day he works to gain movement back. We know this will be a long road but he's determined to move again and we're there to cheer him on.
Gaylyn has aked that people not feel sorry for them. They are trying to prepare for Stewart coming home one day and Stewart is still his funny self and staying motivated." We prefer to laugh not cry in the Craig home!"
"The good news is Stewart is still himself. He still is cracking jokes and making us laugh. It wouldn't be us if we didn't have humour to get us through these times. We thank you for your understanding and are very hopeful that we will be celebrating Stewart's recovery with you all very soon."
As friends of both Stewart and Gaylyn Craig we all wanted to do something for them. We will also be having a fun night out at Yuk yuk's. Friends and family of both Stewart and Gaylyn have asked that we put up a sight they can donate to as well. So please donate what you can towards helping them with the many challenges they will be facing in the near future.
Thank-you all in advance.
