LCpl Cody Childers Monument Fund

Erik Johnson a 2/6 Echo Co Marine that was with Cody, lives here in Chesapeake and has spearheaded to have a Battlecross Monument placed in front of Grassfield High School for Cody in September. LCpl Cody Childers was a graduate of Grassfield High School and a Marine that was killed in action in Afghanistan in August of 2010. 
Cost of the Battlefield Cross Monument is $4400 and $1900 still needed. He is asking for donations, he is close to goal but if he gets a great response we can do the larger monument.
So 2/6 Marines he is challenging you to donate and spread the word. Of coarse also anyone else who would like to help see this monument happen to honor Cody. Randy and I are so touched and excited for this to happen. This something permanent and everyone will see when entering the school. Please help Erik to honor Cody, his fallen brother.
