Got To Be Kidney’ing Me

People are so rude when they have kidney failure….it’s like they have no filter!
All jokes aside our good friend Rehn Robinson, however strong his sense of humor is, his kidneys are not. Rehn is in end stage renal failure with no function of his kidneys outside of dialysis. Fortunately the VA does cover dialysis but he has not been approved for and has actually been rejected for assessment to start the process of getting a kidney transplant. Without a transplant he will have to remain on dialysis infinitely to survive. He has started receiving dialysis treatments 3 times a week along with plenty of other medical procedures to help keep him going. Being in the hospital has taken an extra toll on him making daily tasks more strenuous and leaving him unable to do the side work he normally does to stay afloat. That being said we’d like to set up this fundraiser for Rehn in hopes to allow him to continue to receive medical attention while simultaneously knowing that he will be able to have transportation to and from the hospital, keep a roof over his head, and be able to afford whatever comfort measures he might need while enduring this process. We all know that Rehn would give us the shirt off of his back and his last meal if we were hungry. He will fix any piece of machinery he can or will be an ear to listen to your problems with no judgement. His resilience to his own problems is notable and his willingness to help others doesn’t go unnoticed. He has done more for others than he has for himself and we all know he’s too humble to ask for anything in return. It’s time to reciprocate those actions and pay it forward. There are a lot of people who want to help and might not know exactly how to do that so we are setting up this fundraiser to give people an option to do so. No contribution is too small and no effort will go unnoticed. If you are not in a position to financially contribute, no worries, if you would just share this page to help spread awareness of our friend in need that would be appreciated just as greatly.
