Wade Wood's Cancer

Hearing the words "A golf ball size tumor on your brain stem" brought Wade's world to a screeching halt. He quickly gets in to see a neurosurgeon, only to be told that the surgery is too risky to be performed locally, he must get to UAB ASAP to have the tumor removed. Once he gets to UAB, he gets more devastating news.....your insurance doesn't cover him out of state/out of network...and they send him home. Without the surgery, Wade will not survive. Two years prior, Wade was told he had a kidney stone; for 2 months, the Dr. kept treating him for a kidney stone, even blasted it with lithotripsy...only to discover it was a rare form of Transitional Cell Kidney Cancer. after 16 rounds of chemo and surgery to remove the kidney, Wade was told that by the Dr. blasting it with lithotripsy, it had gotten outside the kidney and into a lymph node, but the chemo killed off cancer. Now, after 2 years, not only has he developed a brain tumor, he is told it has metastasized from the Transition Cell Kidney Cancer.
