Dear Brickhouse Friends & Family,
As some of you may know, our little Mom & Pop was looking forward to celebrating our 20th Anniversary this summer. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced us to put plans on hold, if not cancel all together. Certainly the least of everyone's concerns. But in addition, we have made the challenging decision to remain open in a very limited capacity, but sadly, with only a small fraction of our staff.
We have weathered some seriously crazy stuff over the past two decades, but this is by far the scariest, and most heartbreaking. The loss of income and subsequent changes in operations have been devastating for business, but more importantly to our hard working employees. Restaurant work can be incredibly challenging and workers are often paycheck to paycheck. Please help us help our staff avoid at least some of the stress and uncertainty that lies ahead.
Our staff have breathed the life and laughter into the Brickhouse, and with your help we hope to take care of them in some small capacity, as we attempt to reinvent ourselves in these uncertain times. This will give us the breathing room (and optimism) we need to focus all efforts on bringing the Brickhouse back to full capacity, and hopefully, rehiring our amazing staff while helping to supplement some of their lost income in the interim.
Our current day to day sales, during our limited operations, will go towards keeping the lights on and catching up with vendors, but 100% of the money raised here will go towards our employees (approximately $11K going towards current payroll and the remainder dispersed amongst the staff we cannot currently continue to employ.) #SmallBusinessRelief
We realize that everyone has been effected by this pandemic in some way, be it socially, medically, emotionally or financially, and we wish all of you the very best in staying healthy and safe. For those of you that can afford it, and would like to help, we can't thank you enough for you continued faith. No amount is too small.
And please, say hi next time you're in! If you're unable visit now, or have loved ones close by, please consider a Brickhouse gift certificate .
Wishing you all the very best,
