SHAWNEE NOW BELLA'S MEDICAL FUND

Beautiful Shawnee now "Bella", a petite boxer mix, was rescued from Maricopa County East shelter last Friday and she is fighting for her life.
Bella is a strong-willed, sweet and cuddly doll who was overbread and then dumped at county to suffer the fate of this insidious disease because her "owners" never got her vaccinated. Now, she suffers. She has a lot of fight left in her, but we can only do so much unless we have help.
Thanks to Underdog Rescue and some dedicated volunteers, we broke her out and she has been under the expert care of Dr. Darger and staff at San Tan Animal Hospital.
She was finally diagnosed with distemper and pneumonia. :'( Right away, Dr. Darger started her on medications to help her feeling good again and in hopes to help her gain weight as she is only a tiny 39 lbs!
She has received the Newcastle distemper serum series and we are all hopeful she will pull through. However, with her complications due to pneumonia on top of her distemper she has a lack of appetite and has been vomiting so she was readmitted for fluids and to be monitored until she can eat on her own.
We will use the money to pay for her vet care which is expensive and oh so necessary to help our Bella girl have a fighting chance!
As her foster mom, I am not asking for a lot because we know any little bit helps. We are grateful for any amount you can help with. Aunties Destiny and Gwen, Uncle Mac and everyone else on this team have been so amazing.
It would mean the world to Bella and her rescue family and also to whoever her future family is as she will bring so much love to them when she is feeling better! <3
