Stage 4 Cancer Patient Needs Help

Doug Zmijewski is not only a wonderful husband, dad, father in law and one of the best grandpas to five grandchildren. He was coach, mentor and friend to many including SCS Hockey players and their parents. A tough guy with a great sense of humor. He helped many of us and always behind the scenes because he never needed to get the credit for his generosity. Doug now needs our help. He's been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bladder Cancer. He is currently receiving Immune Therapy (Tecentriq) to fight the cancer. Because of his abnormal kidney function he is not a candidate to receive Chemo Therapy. He has just had stents placed into both of his kidneys to help relieve pressure and the administration of medication later if needed. He is in need of more testing but cannot receive it because insurance dictates that these tests only be done yearly which means out of pocket funds are piling up along with everyday needs. I'm asking for everyone's generosity in helping to take the financial stress off of his shoulders and also to help pay for the much needed P E T tests and upcoming procedures.
