National American Miss

My name is Latasha Newton, and I got this amazing opportunity. As most of you probably don't know. I used to dabble in modeling a little while ago. I thought I was done with modeling but, out of the blue, I got a letter saying that I was randomly selected to go to an open casting for NAM which stands for National American Miss. I went to the open casting where we had to do a semi-little interview. To go on and be a finalist for Miss Kentucky there were three things that you had to pass. Those three things were the interview, the way you carried yourself as well as the Application. After we had done the interview we watched a presentation on NAM pageant from the past. Then we were told we would hear back within a couple of days.

I am one of the finalists for Miss Kentucky! I have pageant prep on March 2nd. To get me ready for the pageant. Which takes place in Frankfort, Tennesse it is a four-day event. This is an amazing opportunity for me to give back to my community. The only semi-bad thing about this opportunity is the cost. I am trying to save up money to pay for my outfits, the transportation, the hotel as well, and the Original fee, Anything will help, no matter the amount.
