Help sweet Emma get knee surgery!

Many of you know how much joy and value a family dog brings to our lives. Emma has been in my life since 2014 and has transitioned to being a guardian and pack member of our daughter so well. In short, she’s such a good girl with a gentle spirit DESPITE her rowdy past . Emma has had her share of mishaps and health issues in her life. She had a CCL (ACL) repair of the left knee in 2016 and a major emergency surgery of both of her front legs in 2018 when she jumped through a window. That was “fun.” Well, now she needs our help again. Her right back knee is now in need of repair and vet bills are a lot for a young family like us. Torn ACL is an unfortunately very common injury in large dogs. We estimate (and it’s a conservative estimate) that it will all cost $6,000. We are reaching out to you our community and familia to help our special four legged companion literally get on her four feet again. It’s heartbreaking to see our strong and sweet girl hobble around and only able to take short walks. CCL repair surgery in dogs is the most common orthopedic procedure so we have full confidence this surgery will get her back to her full mobility.
