My Sister's Breast Cancer Fund

Donation protected
Thank you for visiting my web page. My name is Maria and my sister Catalina was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast cancer in April 2012 at the age of 31. She has been fighting to be cancer free for a year and a half now and will continue to fight for as long as it takes. She has completed chemotherapy and surgery and she will finish radiation treatments soon. Currently she is on a maintenance treatment to keep the cancer at bay which includes infusions of Herceptin and Perjeta every three weeks. She will stay on this treatment indefinitely until the cancer shows signs of recurrence. Her most recent scans are showing no evidence of disease which is great news for someone with metastatic cancer. She has been clear for a year now and we hope she stays that way for a long time. The purpose of this site is to raise money for medical bills and future medical costs. Since she has to get infusions, complete medical tests and constantly see the doctor you can imagine how bills can start piling up. She is also a single mother to my 7 year old nephew. My sister is an inspiration. She continued to work full time throughout chemotherapy and is only now taking a much needed break. She's a wonderful mom and a strong woman to be doing it alone. Please consider helping my sister by making a donation. You can choose to do so anonymously if you wish. All donations would be appreciated.
