Help Andrea KICK CANCER'S BUTT

In Fall of 2023, Andrea Greig was diagnosed with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, triple-negative breast cancer represents 10% of breast cancers overall. This subtype is usually more aggressive and harder to treat than cancers that are hormone receptor-positive. With a long road ahead of treatments and doctors visits, we immediately got together to discuss how to support Andrea during this trying time. We are accepting financial donations to support any and all needs Andrea may have, trying to give to the one that gives so much of herself to this community!

Andrea is currently the Animal Protection Officer with Lakeway Police Department and responds to over 500 animal related incidents each year. Andrea is known by her peers for her hard work, enthusiasm, and passion for the job. Andrea is widely known throughout the community and one of the more popular officers. She is also one of the busiest officers and doesn’t just hang up her belt at the end of her shift. Andrea often times works late nights and weekends to ensure the safety of the animals in this community. Andrea is a prime example of providing surpassed safety and service to the community.

Before joining Lakeway Police Department in 2005, Andrea worked for 19 years as a veterinarian technician. She brought with her a wealth of experience and, perhaps more importantly, a passion for animals. Aside from her passion for animals, Andrea enjoys country dancing on the weekends and going on long motorcycle rides throughout the hill country. We all are here to support her in any way possible so that she KICKS CANCER’S BUTT!!
