Help save Punky

Hi, my name is Melissa. I’m here asking all the pet lovers out there for help. My dear friend Miranda’s (some of you may know her by Randy) dog Punky became suddenly ill on Jan. 3rd with lethargy and a high fever. For more than a week the vet was at a loss for what was causing the issue. After failed antibiotic treatments, a second blood panel showed that Punky needed to be immediately hospitalized with a specialist for round the clock fluids and treatment. Further testing has shown an enlarged liver, but the prognosis is still unknown and the cost is becoming insurmountable for Miranda and her partner Greg.

If you have had the pleasure of meeting Miranda, or lucky enough to call her a friend, you will know that she is one the kindest people with a heart and soul of gold. She is passionate about animals and cares deeply for every single pup that she grooms, helping them (and their fur parents) live their best lives. As a friend, Miranda is always there. She has been my rock in so many ways on so many occasions that I want to return the favor. Much like her owner, Punky is so special. She has seen her mama through so many hard times, always there to love on her and be her partner in crime. She is still young, at only 9 years old her breed has a typical life expectancy of 15-16 years. So join me in lifting the burden of finances off her shoulders, so the Miranda can give her Punky the best fighting chance to get through this and live out the rest of her life to the fullest. So Punky can get back to her spunky self chasing her beloved ball.
