Need to get back on my feet
Donation protected
Long story short:
The plan was to adopt a shelter dog to be a service dog prospect through a rescue. Unfortunately, the dog is very much unfit for service work and all of the damage he has caused, his vet fees and plane carrier to fly him back to the rescue has cost me far more money than I am able to afford. Because he broke his crate and chewed through every leash, and chain leashes (the nylon handles) I had to leave him in the guest room while not able to be watched, which was disastrous as I quickly found out.
A very fast decision was made to select a puppy from a breeder because it was the perfect opportunity/coincidence/whatever you want to call it. I did not know when the next opportunity for a dog like this would arise. I also thought the rescue dog would be gone shortly before or shortly after and I would have more money. Alas, it is not so.
I am currently living off of rice and cheese and only have so much money left in my emergency fund which I can no longer use (I've drained 2/3 of it).
I still have to finish paying off the puppy's fees and fixing all the damage caused by the rescue dog and all other fees he has accrued. At this point and my boyfriend does not make enough money to give anymore than rent and some food every month.
Money donated to me will be spent:
1. Finishing the puppy's payment
2. Training for the puppy
3. Training equipment
4. Providing me more than rice and cheese to eat
And replenishing funds caused by the rescue dog:
1. Repair scratched and damaged doors
2. Pay for new leashes because he destroyed three
3. Paint over chewed on walls, door frames, etc.
4. Cover the cost of his health cert and airport crate
5. The wire crate he destroyed
6. To try to fix the floor of the guest room where he routinely urinated and defecated despite all attempts to prevent it
7. Purchase a new mattress as he chewed it and it was defecated on
8. Medical fees because he dragged me down the stairs causing injury
Thank you for your help.
