Be part of the miracle for my nephew & his family!

In lieu of a non-profit donation, I am requesting my Leo-loving friends donate $5 (just $5!) to help my sister & bro-in-law during a terrifying time.  My sister Mary posted Thursday: "This is a day no parent wants to go through. Ethan fell out of a second story window at our house. It was a complete accident and accidents happen. We are now in the pediatric ICU in Burlington [VT]. The next few days are absolutely critical."

Friday: "Right now we are hopeful. We are still not in the clear so I don’t want to give too much information because thing can change quickly. He was without a heartbeat or breathing for 6 minutes. That is one of the biggest concerns due to losing oxygen to his brain and organs for that amount of time. The massive fracture to his skull and the swelling is also a the other main concern. But there does not appear to be any major bleeding on the brain."

Saturday update (NEW): "We want to say thank you for everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Family and friends are going above and beyond!  Ethan got his breathing tube out yesterday. He did have a very rough day after it was taken out. He is being watched very closely. His levels did go up and down a lot very quickly at times. We continue to be very hopeful and try to stay positive. People have asked if there is any brain damage. His head is still very swollen. It’s going to take time for it to go down and to get everything checked out. They said even if there is no damage it will be months of recovery and he probably won’t be the same child during that time. Again Thank you to everyone who reaches out to us. We ask to still continue to pray for for Ethan. We will continue to update on his progress."

I can't imagine their pain. I can only imagine what the hospital bills will be, and this is a family with 5 kiddos (Ethan & his twin sister are 2 1/2 yrs old)

Put his name on your healing altar. Chant his name in your prayer. Call on his angels.  However you worship, bless him UP- this little guy needs a miracle!
May he recover. May his brain and organs heal. May this family feel whole and happy again soon!  I love you Mary, sweet mama.  I love you Tyler, strong daddy. Ethan, so many people are sending you their LOVE!!! THIS is my birthday wish. Thank you!
