Help Tara recover from the Superior, CO Wildfire

Hi, my name is Amy and I live in Portland, Me. Yesterday a wildfire tore through Superior, Colorado and surrounding areas burning everything in its path and destroying hundreds of homes and businesses. One of those homes belonged to my beautiful sister Tara. Fueled by historically high winds, the fire spread so rapidly that residents and shoppers in the local businesses had to evacuate in a very short time.

Thankfully, Tara was away from home when the evacuation order was called and she and her girls are all safe and well. But this also means she didn't have the few precious moments to pack an emergency bag, gather any possessions or grab her cash and important papers. She has only her purse and the clothes she was wearing. Everything else is gone. My niece's car was also at the house and was unable to be recovered.

We are still awaiting official confirmation, but as the entire neighborhood, the surrounding developments and shopping center are all gone, there is little hope that her house is still standing.

As the shock begins to wear off the reality is beginning to set in that not just a home,,but a whole life was lost in a matter of a couple of hours. We will begin to piece things back together and do whatever is necessary to begin to rebuild what she has lost. But in the meantime she doesn't have a possession to her name. Not even the most basic things...shoes, clothes, socks, toiletries, a hairdryer, a pillow, even enough cash to get her through the next few weeks as she begins to piece things back together.

If you have met Tara you know she is infinitely kind, an incredibly hard worker, and generous to a fault. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has reached out so far to offer help or inquire about her wellbeing. Now I would love to ask, if you are able, for you to help me provide her with the money she needs to begin to get back on her feet, replace her basic necessities and cover her living expenses for the next few weeks.. Literally anything at all helps and would be so gratefully appreciated.
