Daniel’s Dog

Hi everyone! This is my 8 year old son Daniel. He has been diagnosed with several psychiatric disabilities. Daniel has really struggled with emotional regulation all of his life. We are raising money to purchase a psychiatric service dog. He will be trained to provide deep pressure therapy, behavior interruptions, grounding, anxiety response, and finding help. We believe that he will be a great help in providing the support that Daniel needs. We would be honored and grateful if you would consider donating to help us help our child.

Families First K9 was matched with my son in order to obtain a service dog! The head trainer and owner Mary Tahir prides herself on placing fully trained service dogs with children and adults in need. She’s been training service dogs for 5 years and has placed over 30 dogs with those in need. Nothing is more important than matching my son with the perfect dog and Mary will be able to do that. We are continuing our efforts to fundraise so that we can get Daniel the help he needs. We are so grateful for any and all donations and support!
