Hi everyone,
My name is Teresa and I am writing to you on behalf of baby Ellie , Ellie is my good friends daughter who will be a year old in September . At the early age of 6 weeks Ellie started having seizures they started off as 1 or2 per day and they can now go up to 30 a day if not more! The parents have been seeing doctors and specialists and finally Ellie was diagnosed with MMPSI (malignant migrating partial seizures of infancy) . MMPSI is a severe form of epilepsy that begins very early in life. It can start as early as 6 weeks old. The seizures are not responding well to treatments . Ellie has now stopped eating and has no eye sight , she has a hard time with her breathing , her little body can no longer handle these seizures and she is shutting down. Mommy & daddy are hard working people but can barely make ends meet the cost of medication is crazy. Ellie also has a big sister named Olivia that loves her so much . Mommy & daddy are slowly starting to think of funeral arrangements and I am doing this GO FUND ME PAGE to help them try to pay all their expenses needed for this situation . Every little bit helps !
