Charles Nelson

Hi my name is Madison Nelson and I am fundraising for my dad Charles Nelson. Sadly my dad passed away on 11/26/2023 at 47 years old and I am fundraising in order to cover the funeral and cremation costs. My dad was a single father of 3 children, all under the age of 21. In addition to being an awesome father, he was a die hard Oregon Duck fan and served 20 years in the US military under the Naval branch. He was best known for his humor and the strength he showed in everyday life. My dad was my world, my best friend and most importantly my role model.

Now that my dad has passed I have assumed all financial and emotional responsibility for not only me but also my 2 siblings. I am a 21 year old college student at the University of Oregon and would like to continue my college education but the weight of everything is too much for me to handle. I am hoping to raise enough funds to cover the cremation and funeral costs in order to give him the send off he deserved. We don't have a set date yet for his funeral, but we are thinking sometime during March-April. I will keep everyone posted as we know more.
