Identity Theft Casualty
Hi everyone, my name is Q. For all that know my work ethic, it does not come easy to have to ask for help in this way, but I am exhausted in what I can do on my own. A few weeks ago my aunt was served court papers regarding a motor accident that seriously injured someone, in Atlanta. The papers stated the victim was suing the driver, as well as the owner of the vehicle and listed me as the owner. As you all know, I have not held residence in Atlanta for close to (6) years, nor do I own a car and have not since shortly after relocating. Hoping it was a scam, I reached out to Fulton County Court to unfortunately find out the summons was in fact real; and that I had (30) days to send in paperwork to prove I was innocent. Because I do not actually own this car, before it was received at my aunt’s, it was addressed to a location I’ve never held residence at — making the time period that the papers actually reached me, well past (30) days. This has made my only option to get an attorney, to defend my case.
In addition, since receiving the court order, I’ve had unauthorized activity on my social verifying identity fraud. The price I’m looking at paying for an attorney and restoration of other losses acquired throughout this situation is between $10K-15K. I would need the total within the next 2 months. I am also taking assistance in the form of black attorney recommendations, and testimonies from people who have experienced this so I have a wide range of understanding what exactly this entails.
Emotionally, I’m not exactly in the best place but I know Spiritually this has brightened my experience in the higher timeline. Survival is extremely difficult under capitalism, so with that I do not wish ill on whomever is doing this. I hope none of you do either. I just want my affairs in order so that I can continue living the life I work hard for in best interest of Spirit, and my community.
