Help Stanford Spokes Teach Across the Country!
Donation protected
Hello! We are Stanford Spokes, a team of six undergraduates at Stanford University who will be biking and teaching educational workshops in communities across the country this summer. From San Francisco to Washington, D.C., our goal is to build strong, lasting relationships in the communities we pass through and empower the hundreds of students we meet along the way to explore their interest in learning.
We are especially focused on reaching young students underrepresented in post-secondary education due to race, gender, geographic region, and/or socioeconomic background. Biking is a crucial part of our approach to education: when we bike, we meet communities where they are, on the ground.
We have been biking since mid-June and are actively fundraising to reach our goal of $30,000. Your GoFundMe contribution will fund emergency travel expenses (estimated at $7,500) that arise during the trip, including transportation, food, lodging, and bike repairs.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our gift account, you can donate online at give.stanford.edu (select “Other Stanford Designation,” then type in “Stanford Spokes/SDE") or make a check out to Stanford Digital Education-Spokes and mail it to Debby Angus-Weberski at 408 Panama Mall, Room 140, Stanford, CA 94305.
Join us in making a tangible impact on the lives of students across the country this summer! Every donation counts—your support is immensely appreciated.
