My Father, Jerome Vessels Bailey, passed away September 1st, 2024 at the age of 69 due to a heart attack in his home.
My Father enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 22 in Baltimore, Maryland where he was then transferred to Fort Dix, NJ and later Fort Knox, KY. He served in the Usareur/7A and presented with 3 medals of honor: National Defense Service Medal, Marksman M16, and Sharpshooter Grenade. He was on many assignments during his 2 years of enlistment and was Honorable Discharged at the end of his 2 year service.
I am making this GoFundMe in order to pay for his last wishes to be cremated and have his ashes spread where he’s always talked about wanting to home to Baltimore, Maryland.
Anything will be greatly appreciated in helping to lay my Father to rest. Thank you.
