4th of July Fireworks on Mission Bay!

The response to bring back the 4th of July events on Mission Bay has been wonderful! We made our goal to raise $40,000 before the April 1st deadline in order to sign the contract.

We will now continue our efforts to raise the rest of the money before the event to bring the total to $60,000. Lets keep up the excitement and camaraderie in our MB and PB community! The funds will be used to secure a permit and a barge. 

Background:

My name is Kathy Dryden and I am on the board of Mission Bay Yacht Club. MBYC used to fund the show on the 4th that went off in the middle of Mission Bay. Unfortunately, the cost became too much for our budget and that tradition stopped years ago.

 

As a resident of Crown Point, I know we all miss coming together as a community with our friends and family to enjoy some sparkle in the sky at the end of a fun 4th of July day!

 

Lets come together as a community and bring back the show! Your kids, friends and beautiful memories will thank you!
