4th Film: Chile

Tax deductible
In August we will be filming indigenous communities from Chile, like the Mapuches, to create a documentary on ancestral music. Our goal is to fundraise $2,000 by August 15th for the trips and filming in Chile.

Here's more about the project:

We are co-creating a set of 9 documentary films about indigenous communities from South America called “Mysteries of the Andes”. We are fortunate enough to work alongside Quechua filmmakers who are rooted and in deep relationship with native communities of the south. Through these relationships, we have been able to make the first 3 films focused on indigenous communities from the Andes and Amazon of Peru.

Because of the urgency of this work (since the wisdom, teachings and knowledge of native communities [the ones we’ve filmed and many others] is disappearing), we are being even more ambitious for our 4th film: it is on native music, instruments, dance and rituals from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Argentina!

So far, we have been able to film in Peru and Bolivia because of donations like these. This is the 3rd leg of our journey and we need your support! Please donate what you can and share on social media.

With gratitude,
the Ayni team
