Michael Slater's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
I am a friend and coworker of David Slater and his wife Terry. Last night they suffered the most unspeakable loss that any parent can experience...the death of their wonderful son Michael. Michael was a joy to anyone who made their way into his world. He always had a smile on his face that would light up the room! Michael loved transformers and silly jokes. Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddles and a non-fat decaf mocha were the best start to any day for Michael. The world will be less bright in his absence and he will be missed by many.
Funeral expenses can be very daunting and so I am hoping to lighten that burden for Dave and Terry. Any amount that you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated.
From Dave, Terry, Sam and Kynzie:
It is with a deeply saddened heart that after a 3 month up and down battling the effects of his cancer treatment at Children's Hospital, our 26 year old son Michael passed away peacefully with Mom, Dad, his brother Sam, his adopted sister Kynzie, and his uncle Charlie at his bedside.
Michael developed irreversible respiratory distress that we were unable to fix, and at 9:48 Tuesday evening, February 16th, Michael left us.
This is so hard to write, and we cannot believe that Michael is no longer with us. We're not sure how to carry on from here. We will miss him so much, forever.
Goodbye our son. We will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives. You touched so many hearts. You were an angle on earth.
