Honoring Parikshith: A Family's Final Wish

Tragic loss of a beloved son

Our dear friends, Shobha and Praveen Woody, are experiencing an unimaginable grief with the unexpected passing of their younger son, Parikshith. This devastating loss has left them heartbroken and facing unforeseen challenges.

Parikshith, a 10th grader at Shaker High School, was a bright and happy kid. He ẁas doing great in school and always had a cheerful smile. He was great with his friends and other kids and always respected elders. It was a pleasure to have him around.

The family deeply desires to bring Parikshith's body back to India to perform the final rites according to their cherished traditions. However, the expenses associated with this journey are significant, estimated to be around $50,000.

Facing financial hardship during this already difficult time adds immense stress to the family. We are reaching out to our community to offer support and alleviate some of their burdens.
