On Friday July 17, 2015 Julian was working when he fell ill. He was taken to Latrobe Hospital where they learned that he had a severe brain bleed. They promptly flew him down to Presbyterian Hospital where he would spend the next 10 days fighting for his life. He returned home and less than a week later he was back in the hospital fighting once again. At this point he had several strokes and lost the usage of his left arm and leg. Upon returning to the hospital he had to undergo a brain angioplasty. From there he was back in the ICU. He spent 2 weeks there and was transferred to a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehab, where, he is currently undergoing extensive rehab including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. He will continue rehab at Mercy for at least another month. Upon discharge he will require further therapy for an unknown amount of time. It is unclear when he will be able to return to work. His family has been by his side daily, managing work, school, and daily life activities. His medical expenses are adding up and with one income this is a very demanding time for Julian and Lisa. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He is employed as a part-time Police Officer for local and county Police Departments. He also volunteers his time with the Markle fire department. Julian married the love of his life a short time before his brain injury. He is a fighter and is continuing to fight. Please help in any way you can.
