**Help Our Parents Rebuild After a Devastating Fire**

Yesterday afternoon, our parents faced an unimaginable tragedy when their home was completely destroyed in a fire. If you know our parents, you know this is the last thing that they deserve. They have spent their entire life giving to other people and putting themselves last, our mother especially. From taking in children on several occasions and treating them like their own, to countless hours of community service to those in need, and everything in between. Along the way, having encountered one traumatic event after another. It is time for our community to rally behind them and give them the support they deserve and need. Thankfully, they are safe, but they’ve lost almost everything — their belongings, cherished memories, and the historic farmhouse in the Village of Gaines they called their home. The fire left nothing but a charred, smoke and water damaged structure behind.

This home held countless memories and provided comfort and security for them. Now, they are in need of assistance to rebuild their lives and find a new place to call home. Any support, whether financial or through sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to my family as we navigate through this heartbreaking time.
