Support for the Walker Family

Allen Walker passed away on Sunday, September 3 surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with ALS. Allen leaves behind his wife Eva and 7 children.

Allen was a faithful friend to so many. He carried the Father’s heart in a profound way, which was demonstrated in his and Eva’s commitment to adoption and foster care, fostering over 40 children and adopting 5.

Allen served for 18 years as the Family Ministry Pastor at The Harbour Church in Pompano Beach. His kindness and love for people impacted so many lives over the course of his life and ministry. His faith while battling ALS was a beacon of hope to all.

We take comfort in the fact that his final act of love in this life was as an organ donor, helping prolong the lives of others who have dealt with chronic illness.

This GoFundMe was created to give those who were impacted by Allen’s life a chance to give back to Eva and the Walker kids. These funds will be go directly to Eva Walker (beneficiary) to help her cover funeral and medical costs, as well as help with general household costs for the family in this initial time of grief. Reina Parrish, a longtime friend to the Walker's, is managing the GoFundMe.
