Help us give our father the funeral he deserves

On Sunday night just like almost every family here in Tulsa spent their afternoon at the Tulsa State Fair. As Luis was leaving the fairgrounds, he was walking on the crosswalk to get to his car, when he was struck by a vehicle. From lack of street lights in the pedestrian crosswalk and negligence of the Tulsa State Fair cross walking guidance we lost an amazing father, family member and friend

Jose Luis left this world taking a piece of every persons heart with him. Those that knew Luis know that he would always give his last to any person that came across his path. Luis was an amazing father, always involved in every accomplishment his children were involved in. He did everything in his power to make sure his family and friends never went without. He was a natural giver, super talkative and never failed to brighten any room he entered. He had a contagious smile that will never be forgotten. Luis leaves behind 2 daughters, a son and grandchildren that he loved dearly. No words can express the loss his family and friends are going through in this difficult times. Unfortunately, this is something nobody saw coming or prepared for. We ask the community, his family and friends to help give Jose Luis the burial he very much deserves to have. It is
