Justice for Noah

My son, Noah Alexander was murdered by the woman that gave birth to him. After 2 years of fighting for custody, fighting for rights that shouldn’t have to be fought for, and being denied visitation just because the parent plan said, “in the event that the parents cannot agree, mother has final say so.” She continuously took advantage of the loosely worded documents, and even though the parent plan said sheriffs can make judgement calls, when I contacted them, they “passed the buck” and called it a civil matter.

She’s been arrested for 2nd degree murder, and a slew of other drug and neglect related charges. My son died of dehydration and starvation and the death was ruled as a homicide.

Not only do I have a heartache that will never heal, not only have I lost my first born son, but I have a legal mess to clean up. This is about getting justice for my son. Getting lawyers to ensure justice is served to everyone that had a hand in his death, directly or indirectly. Traveling from my home in Alabama to the court hearings in Missouri. If I was a single father with no surviving children I’d be able to do it on my own. But Noah is survived by 5 other children than me and my current wife take care of day in and out. I cannot do this on my own.

Not a day in this life will go by without me thinking about you son. Your portrait hangs in my bedroom, your stuffed animal has a spot on my wall, there’s a memorial photograph of one of your onesies next to your funeral papers. You’re with me, tattooed on my arm in loving memory. And even though you’re gone, I know I’ll see you again some day.
