O’Brien Family Robbery

As some of you may know, my parents Jamie & Rosa O’Brien moved to Dallas Texas about 3 years ago  to start a new chapter and make a better life for themselves. Both my parents have always worked incredibly hard to provide for our family.  From building/owning a very successful Dahlia business for 17 years to now owning a Mexican restaurant located in Dallas Texas.  Those of you who know my parents, know it hasn’t always been easy!
On Sunday  8/04/19 at 8:59pm (one minute before closing) in Dallas Texas at my parents Mexican restaurant , 2 young men armed with pistols entered my parents restaurant. They held a family member (working the register), other employees and 2 customers at gunpoint while they demanded all the cash in the register. Luckily no one was physically harmed! Sunday’s are our busiest days of the entire week. These criminals left with close to 4k$ of hard earned cash! 
The police came but did not hold out much hope of catching them as the video pictures are not very clear. One had a hood, face down with gloves and the other was not pictured well from the angle of the cameras. The police dusted for finger prints, but unless they hit a match from a previous crime, there is not much they can do. 
My dad contacted their insurance today, but their deductible is almost as much as the loss and even though it will cover some of the loss, if they use the insurance their rates will go way up and will cost more in the long run than the actual loss of the robbery. The mortgage for the restaurant is due next week along with sales and employee taxes. With this big of a loss they will not be able to make all the upcoming payments. We appreciate any help you can give to help cover this big loss! My parents do not deserve this, they are good hard working people!
